Reverse engineering, also known as ”Back Engineering,” is primarily the process that refers to extracting information from a particular product or available knowledge base and reproducing something based on the information extracted by the reverse engineering process. Reverse engineering can be used to violate a particular software or media and remove the appropriate protection or create a fake copy of the original. On the contrary, reverse engineering can be used to study the operating parameters of a virus or malware and help in the development of an antivirus or anti-malware system. In accordance with the NDA, the disclosed party would not disclose its confidential information to the receiving party or third party and would grant it the right to use such confidential information. This remains for the continuation of negotiations within the framework of the material agreement.
