17.2 In order to facilitate the safe return of staff to work on campus, the university and a professional (who is not a shift worker) may agree that the qualified employee can start or finish work up to 2 hours before or two hours after the normal working time (which does not extend beyond 8 p.m.) from Monday to Friday. This measure is subject to agreement and possible occupational health and safety reasons. When such an agreement is reached, the specialized employee is not entitled to overtime rates or penalties for hours worked before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m. under the agreement. 74.2 The officer in the position to be reorganized is consulted prior to any changes and changes are generally made by mutual agreement between the university and the officer. However, the division of tasks and responsibilities is maintained in terms of management. Yes, Prior to the entry into force of the agreement, the university commenced proceedings under Clause 13 (consultation on thought), Part G (work stoppage) or Part H (Disciplinary and Complaint Cases) of the Academic and Professional Staff 2014 (”the 2014 agreement”), the university will pursue these procedures in accordance with the procedures set out in any existing clause. 36.6 The university will provide the agent with a copy of the individual flexibility agreement within 14 days of the denudation agreement and will retain the agreement as a time and salary registration that will complement the other registration processes established by the university. 73.6 If the content of a position description or proposal forming the basis of a reclassification request is contentious, the position description may be referred to a position description audit committee, consisting of a representative of Monash`s staff representative and a representative of the NTEU, as well as the supervisor and officer. The Committee will endeavour to reach agreement on the description of the position.
If the position review committee has not reached an agreement on the description of the position, the officer may request that the matter be referred to the dispute resolution process in point 12 above. The reclassification application and agreed position description are submitted for review and determination in accordance with point 73.7. If the description of the position in point 73.7 is reclassified after the fact, the effective date of the reclassification is set no later than two months after discussions between the supervisor and the officer begin.
